The waitlist
When a session is full, a patient can join the waitlist instead of leaving. When a slot frees, the waitlist is offered it — in order, with a time limit.

- A slot freesSomebody cancels, or the desk releases a slot flagged as a likely no-show.
- The first waiting patient is offered itThey get a link with a window to accept, usually thirty minutes. Nothing is booked on their behalf.
- If they do not take itThe offer passes to the next person. The desk is not involved unless the list runs out.
- It is filled or it expiresIf nobody takes it, the slot returns to the public page as available.
Order is arrival order
Not urgency, not who paid. If a patient needs to be seen sooner, the desk should book them, not reorder the waitlist.
