No-show prediction
A booking can be flagged as likely not to arrive. The flag is a prompt to confirm, not a reason to cancel.
What it looks at
- How far ahead the booking was made.
- Whether this patient has missed appointments before, at this clinic.
- The slot: first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening behave differently.
- Whether the booking has been confirmed since it was made.
What it does not look at
- Anything clinical. Diagnosis, medication and results are not inputs.
- Anything demographic beyond age band. Not address, not name, not sex.
- Behaviour at any other clinic. Your data stays yours.
Never cancel on the flag alone
The correct response is a confirmation message and, if a session is full, offering the slot to the waitlist while still holding it.
