What we aim for, and what we will not promise.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are not certified against it and we are not going to claim we are. What follows is what we have actually measured.

What has been tested, and by whom.

• Colour contrast across representative pages. A measurement found 23% of text elements below AA; the cause was a single token used for hints and captions. After correcting it, 0.8% remain, and those are gradient buttons the measurement cannot read backgrounds for.
• Landmarks and skip link. Every page has header, nav, main and footer landmarks and a skip link as the first focusable element.
• Keyboard. Site search opens with / or Ctrl/Cmd K, results are arrow-navigable, and the overlay closes with Esc.
• Charts. Every chart carries a text alternative and a “view as table” version with the same figures.
• Motion. Everything animated is suppressed under prefers-reduced-motion, and no content is hidden when it is.
• Heading order. Measured across every page. A skipped level was found on 199 pages — the footer opened at h4 directly after page h2, and 40 pages jumped h1 to h3. Both are corrected; headings now descend one level at a time throughout. Images. All carry alt text and explicit dimensions.

Where we currently fall short.

• Wide data tables scroll horizontally on small screens rather than reflowing.
• The assistants have not been tested end to end with a screen reader.
• We have not conducted testing with disabled users. Automated measurement is not the same thing and we are not going to present it as though it were.
