The Drapto directory

How the directory works

What the pages are built from, what the badges mean, what a request collects and who receives it, and how to correct or remove a page.

What Drapto is

Drapto is a directory of hospitals, clinics and labs, and the software many of them run on. It is not a healthcare provider, does not give medical advice, and does not recommend or endorse any provider. Nothing on a page is a statement about the quality of anybody's care. There are no ratings and no rankings.

Where the facts come from

A page nobody has claimed is built from information the provider publishes — its own website — and from public lists such as government scheme empanelments and accreditation registers. Every such page names its source, shows when it was last checked, and says “From public sources”. Only business details are shown: no doctor's personal number, and no photos, ratings, reviews or descriptions copied from anywhere.

What the badges mean

Listed

Built from information the provider publishes — its own website, government empanelment lists, accreditation lists. Every one of these pages says where its facts came from and when they were last checked.

Verified

The provider claimed the page with a code sent to its own published email, and confirmed the details. Free for every provider.

Gold member

A paid profile on Drapto, with photos, doctors and fees managed by the provider. It says the provider pays — not that its care is better.

Platinum member

Gold, plus the Featured places at the top of its area's lists — at most three, marked Featured, taking turns when more providers pay. Paid placement, said as such; never a statement about care.

The order of a list. Featured places first, marked. Then Platinum, Gold, Verified and Listed pages, in that order; within each, a provider that takes appointment requests, then one whose details its provider confirmed, then a page with a photo and a number. Drapto shows no ratings and sells no other place in a list. Beside the badge a page may also say New on Drapto, Accepting appointments, Verification in progress or Details confirmed — each one true of the page that day.

“Registration checked” beside a doctor means the registration number matched the public medical register. It is separate from the Verified badge, which means the provider claimed its page.

What an appointment request collects

The patient's name, a mobile number, an email address, a preferred day and time, and the doctor if one was chosen. No symptoms, no reports, nothing medical. The request goes to the provider the patient chose. A provider that has not claimed its page is told only that a request is waiting; the name and number are released to it after it proves, with a code to its own published contact, that it is that provider.

A request is not a booking. The provider confirms a day and a time, or declines, within one working day (nine to seven, Monday to Saturday) — two for a page its provider has not claimed yet; after that the request expires and the patient is shown other providers. Once it is confirmed, the patient may visit. Nothing is paid through Drapto — the patient pays the provider at the visit. Every request has its own page, from the link the patient is given, that shows where it stands and lets the patient cancel. The patient is emailed when the request is sent, and again when it is confirmed, moved, declined or expires. If nobody answers within four working hours, the patient is also sent the provider's published number and three confirmed providers nearby.

Requests are kept for as long as the provider and the patient need them and are not used for advertising. Patients can see theirs by signing in with a code. Not for emergencies — call 112 or 108.

Corrections and removals

Every page has “Report an error” and “Take this page down”. A correction is fixed within 48 hours. A page nobody has claimed comes down the moment its provider asks — nothing to prove — and is not listed again from any source. You can also write to XDQ Labs Private Limited, Gurugram, at info@xdqlabs.com with the subject “Directory — [the page's name]”. A provider that claims its page can correct it itself, and the change shows at once.

For providers

Claiming is free and makes a page Verified. A provider can see its first three requests free. Presence is a paid profile — the provider's own page and every request, with the Gold badge; Drapto does no promotion work for it. Its price is shown inside the claimed page's own screen. Claim your page.
