A patient can cancel or reschedule from the link in their confirmation, without logging in. The desk can do the same from today’s list.

- Rescheduling keeps the same booking and moves it. The patient keeps their code.
- Cancelling releases the slot immediately and offers it to the waitlist.
- A cancellation inside the notice window is recorded as late. It is not penalised automatically — that is a decision for the clinic, not the software.
