REFERRAL NETWORK
You see the result before the doctor does. You just never hear what it changed.
A diagnostic centre sits on more of the patient journey than almost anyone, and gets the least back. The order arrives on paper, the report leaves on paper, and whether it altered a treatment is somebody else's information.
A diagnostic centre can raise a referral to a doctor inside Drapto, attach the report to it, and see when it was opened. No fee is paid in either direction for sending a patient.
Where it goes wrong here
Three failures specific to this side of the referral.
The order arrives with no clinical question on it
"CBC, LFT" is a list, not a question. Without the reason, a critical value has nobody obvious to call.
The report leaves and nothing comes back
It was collected, or it was emailed. Either way the centre has no record that a clinician read it.
The repeat is never scheduled
A test that should recur in ninety days recurs when somebody remembers.
What the network carries
Three things between providers, and nothing else.
The referral
Who, to whom, and the clinical reason.
The acknowledgement
Confirmation the patient arrived.
The report
Attached against the original referral.
What nobody gets paid
No fee, commission, rebate or revenue share reaches anyone for sending a patient — in either direction. Fee-splitting for referrals is prohibited under IMC (Professional Conduct) Regulations 2002 cl. 6.4 and the NMC Professional Conduct Regulations 2023, and the exposure sits on the practitioner's registration.
The loop, measured.
Mechanism, not outcome. None of these figures is a claim about what Drapto recovers.
- 35 loop closed
- 17 seen, no report
- 39 never arrived
- 9 still open
Join the referral network.
Organisation details only. The clinical referral itself — the patient, the reason, the report — happens inside Drapto, behind a login, and never on this page.
Close the loop on the referrals you already send.
The appointment and referral layer is free forever. Revenue integrity is the paid product, and the only thing we sell.
