  • Star ratings on doctors. A five-star average is not a measure of clinical care.
  • Paid placement above another clinic.
  • A commission on consultation fees.
  • Selling or sharing patient data with anyone who did not treat that patient.
  • Reporting clinical detail to an employer.
  • Any feature that pays a doctor for a referral, or a hospital for sending a patient.
Fee-splitting

The last one is not only a principle. Arrangements that split a fee for a referral raise questions under the medical councils’ code of ethics, and we will not design around that.
