Questions we are actually asked
When did PhilHealth eClaims 3.0 become mandatory?
1 April 2026. Access to earlier versions was disabled on 31 March 2026.
What happens if my hospital missed the eClaims 3.0 migration?
Claims cannot be submitted at all until the facility is on version 3.0, either through DOH-PhilHealth validated software or a certified HITP.
What is a HITP?
A Health Information Technology Provider certified to submit on a facility's behalf. Connecting through one avoids certifying your own system.
Do I need my own certification to submit eClaims?
Not if you submit through a certified HITP. Direct submission requires DOH-PhilHealth validation of the software itself.
